PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital converting method that can improve a listening sense at reproduction of a received analog signal even when parts of frequency signals in excess of a prescribed level cannot be converted into signals at recording or at transmission. SOLUTION: A received analog signal is divided into a plurality of frequency signals f1 to f6 depending on its frequency band. When there exists the frequency signal f3 in excess of the prescribed level, dummy frequency signals f3A, f3B are produced in succession to the frequency signal f3 in excess of the prescribed level. That is, even when the part in excess of the prescribed level of the frequency signal f3 cannot be converted into a signal at recording, since the dummy frequency signals f3A, f3B are produced in succession to the frequency signal f3 in excess of the prescribed level, the listening sense at reproduction can be enhanced. |
