PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle image processing camera device whose recognizing performance is high without using any special optical filter. SOLUTION: Color signals RGB of a color camera 11 are individually extracted by an image fetching circuit 12, and the combination of those signals is dynamically changed by a microcomputer 16 so that a synthetic image whose contract is the maximum can be obtained. For example, in recognizing a lane marker drawn on a road, when a yellow line coexists, a yellow picture (R+G) is synthesized from the image information of red components and green components so that the contrast of the lane marker can be made large, and recognition processing is operated to the synthetic image. |
