PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector capable of preventing deterioration of durability of the card connector itself and easy occurrence of an impulsive sound even when a socket cover is slid to a cover ante-pushing in position by action of an elastic body such as a spring. SOLUTION: The card connector is provided with a socket body 11, the socket cover 12 attached to the socket body 11 so as to slide between the cover ante-pushing in position P1 and a cover post-pushing in position P2, and the elastic body 15 energizing the socket cover 12 for moving it to the cover ante- pushing in position P1, and a card C is inserted between the socket body 11 and the socket cover 12. It is provided with a reduction gear 18 reducing moving speed of the socket cover 12 moving to the cover ante-pushing in position P1. |
