MOBILE AGENT FAULT MONITORING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problems that a load on a monitoring-dedicated device and communication costs with the monitoring-dedicated device are increased when the numbers of mobile agents and nodes are increased as the result of requiring dedicated devices when the monitoring-dedicated devices are used for monitoring a fault disabling the processing of the mobile agents on the occurrence of the fault and that computer resources are consumed by copying of the mobile agents in the case of monitoring the fault by the copy of the mobile agents. SOLUTION: A mutually monitoring group is formed of a plurality of mobile agents, and the mobile agents constituting the group move the nodes while monitoring each other. When a fault occurs at the nodes, the other agents belonging to the group detect the fault instantly.
