PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce a user to viewing of a virtual program that surpasses viewer intention while taking into consideration user's selection or preference. SOLUTION: The user selects a segment or inputs a keyword in a step S1, or in the case it is decided that a keyword or preference information is preregistered in a step S2, an advance is taken to a step S3 to retrieve a segment corresponding to a user operation. In the case a segment group is not currently reproduced in a step S4 or in the case it is decided that the retrieved segment is not included in a segment group that is now being reproduced in a step S5, the segment group including the segment retrieved with processing of the step S3 is retrieved in a step S7, and reproduction is started from the first segment included in the retrieved segment group in a step S8.
