PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system with excellent handleability. SOLUTION: A 1st display means 1006 displays display information at a side of a remote controller. A user uses a 1st operation means 1004 to select the display information at the side of the remote controller and drag it toward a video display device 10 resulting in moving a display position of the display information at the side of the remote controller on a display screen of the 1st display means 1006 toward the video display device 10. A 1st communication means 1002 transmits operation information related to the display information at the side of the remote controller to a 2nd communication means 2002 according to the movement operation of the display information at the side of the remote controller.
