PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and continuously scroll a large number of images horizontally from one image to another image and to make higher the scroll speed. SOLUTION: This device is respectively provided with a storage part 112 for storing a plurality of images, first and second buffers 142 and 144 equipped with a plurality of memory locations and configured to store the first and second images from the storage part 112 and a display controller 106 coupled to the first and second buffers 142 and 144, the memory location of the first buffer 142 is interleaved with the memory location of the second buffer 144 in a common memory space, and the display controller 106 is configured to respectively extract one part of the first image from the first buffer 142 and one part of the second image from the second buffer 144 and to send the extracted parts to a display 104.
