SOLAR COLLECTOR

The solar collector converts the solar energy into heat, heating water for residential or industrial needs. The specific form and positioning of the components of the collector bring about better heat exchange and maximum year-round utilization of the solar rays. The collector comprises a housing (13) in which a heat-exchanger (15) is mounted, including copper pipes (1) to which folded aluminium lamellae (2) are fitted in an airtight manner. Between the individual lamellae hot chambers are designed. The external face surface of the lamellae (2) is corrugated and is covered by an absorption coating (12). Housing (13) comprises a box (14) with an aluminium frame (7) and bottom (10), closed by its upper part by a polycarbonate surface (11). Insulation wool (9) is fitted on bottom (10) of box (14) and along its four interior walls around the heat-exchanger (15). 1 claim, 3 figures
