PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for employing a calibration method to bring a characteristic of a 1st read means closer to that of a 2nd read means. SOLUTION: The image forming device in an embodiment of this invention obtains RGB-γ conversion tables respectively included in 1st image signal outputted from the 1st read means and 2nd image signal outputted from the 2nd read means resulting from reading the same reference pattern and creates corrected RGB-γ conversion tables so as to decrease a difference between the image signals outputted from both the read means on the basis of the read values after the RGB-γ conversion. Each read means uses the created RGB-γconversion table so that the image forming means can correct the difference between the read values obtained by reading the same original to avoid the difference from being increased. |
