PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image forming device from generating a marbled brush trace and spots in a formed image. SOLUTION: The image forming device has an electrostatically charged body 1, a contact electrostatic charging device 2 which is provided in contact with the surface of the electrostatically charged body 1 and applied with a vibrating voltage to electrostatically charge the surface of the electrostatically charged body 1 uniformly to a specific potential, an exposure device 6 which forms a specific electrostatic latent image on the electrostatically charged body 1 electrostatically charged by the device 2, and a developing device 4 which forms a toner image by developing the electrostatic latent image formed by the exposure device 6. Here, a value (λsp/m) is N or 1/N (N: natural number), where Vp is the process speed of the electrostatically charged body 1, (f) the frequency of the vibrating voltage applied to the contact electrostatic charging device, λspace wavelength prescribed by (Vp/f), and (m) the minimum scanning interval. |
