PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device that enables a user to set a notice method, depending on its preference, and to provide its control program. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic device is provided with an input section 140, that acquires externally a notice method employing at least one of vibration and alarm corresponding to a surrounding noise level, a noise measurement section 160 that measures a noise level, a vibration section 180 that generates vibration, a sound source section 170 that generates an alarm tone, and a control section 190 that selects the notice method corresponding to the noise level measured by the noise measurement section 160, when the electronic device informs the user about an event and uses at least one of the vibration section 180 and the sound source section 170 for informing the user of the event.
