PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having excellent shock resistance and visibility, a laminated plate for an image display device, and a transparent pressure sensitive adhesive sheet to be used for the panel of an image display device. SOLUTION: A display panel 10 and a protective panel 30 are tightly adhered across one or more layers of a transparent pressure sensitive adhesive material 20. The thickness of the transparent pressure sensitive adhesive material 20 and its dynamic viscoelastic characteristics measured on the basis of the frequency dispersion are in the relation of K=d×2πf×(ρ/3G')<1/2> >=0.5, wherein d is the thickness (m) of the transparent pressure sensitive adhesive material, f is the frequency (Hz) at the peak of tanδ,ρis the density (kg/m<3> ) of the transparent pressure sensitive adhesive material and G' is the storage modulus (Pa) at the peak of tanδ.
