发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRETREATMENT OF WASTE STORAGE BATTERIES
摘要 The method and the device are used in scrap metallurgy. They ensure simultaneous separation of the crushed storage batteries and desulphation of the oxide-sulfate fraction in one piece of equipment. The technological flow diagram is simplified and capital investments are reduced. The method includes crushing and separation under the conditions of heavy suspension with density ranging from 1650 to 1900 kg/m3, in a drum-type device. The suspension formed by crushed battery wastes and solution of the desulphation reagent with density from 1100 to 1300 kg/m3, gets along a continuous flow across a separation device having average remaining time of the suspension in the device from 40 to 150 min. The desulphation reagent is carbonate of an alkaline metal or ammonium carbonate. The device comprises two fixed drums (1, 2), concentrically fitted inside each other, each of which is supplied with a spiral conveyor belt. The outer drum (1) is divided in three sections by means of two partitions (8, 9) fitted at some distance between them, along the length of the device, and along the periphery of the first partition (8) at least four holes (11) are fabricated, and along the periphery of the second one (9) there is a hole (12) through which the spiral conveyor belt (4) passes. The inner drum (2) is made of a cylindrical part which continues as a truncated cone having a constant angle between the generatrtix and the axis. 7 claims, 4 figures
