PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gateway server management system to efficiently provide programs between a service provider and a service demander connected via a network. SOLUTION: The gateway server management system is provided with a gateway server 2 to manage a home network 5 which is constructed by a plurality of pieces of equipment 6, a gateway management server 1 connected with the gateway server 2 via a communication medium 40 and a service provision server 3 having a service agent 4 and to provide the service agent 4 to the gateway management server 1, the gateway management server 1 is provided with a distributing means 13 to distribute the service agent 4 to the gateway server 2 and the gateway server 2 is provided with a storage means 21 to store the distributed service agent 4 and an performance means 22 to realize service by controlling the equipment 6 connected with the home network 5 by using the service agent 4.
