PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely perform age authentication which is already no more than a token. SOLUTION: For the age authentication, an age check is made according to card number information and a password is issued. A system decides whether an Internet user (or rental video user or an article buyer) is an adult by using the password. If a card is not carried, a personal computer with a digital camera sends a thing (driver's license, resident's card, health insurance card, etc.), authenticating the user and an image of the user through the Internet. Consequently, the user is authenticated and a number (false card number) showing the authentication is given. |
