PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the standby state for synchronized start from a specified section (introduction section, for example), settable by a simple operation. SOLUTION: In such an automatic accompaniment system, the accompaniment style data of 'style A' or 'style B' (composed of a plurality of 'introduction' or 'main' section data) can be designated by a ten key. When a style select switch for designating synchronized start standby is operated during the reproduction of the accompaniment style data 'style A' (T1), the reproduction of the 'style A' is stopped, and the 'introduction' thereof is set to the synchronized start standby state. When keys are pressed as it is (T2), the reproduction of 'introduction' of the 'style A' is started. Besides, when the 'style B' is selected by operating the ten key from switch operation (T1) to keying (T2) (T12), the 'introduction' of the 'style B' is set into the standby state of synchronized start. |
