PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric leakage antenna that is much more downsized. SOLUTION: A coplanar line 22 is formed on one side of a dielectric board 21, a metallic pole 27 is placed on an in-line dielectric material section 21b overlapped with its center conductor 23 at an interval nearly equal to an integer multiple of an in-line wavelengthλg so as to emit electromagnetic waves whose electric field direction is the broadwise direction of the dielectric material board 21 from the coplanar line 22 to out-line dielectric material sections 21c, 21d in phase and a plurality of metallic strips 30, 31 provided on the other side of the out-line dielectric sections 21c, 21d leak the electromagnetic waves.
