PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select the optimal means of transportation. SOLUTION: A user accesses a vehicle call center 1 by using a cellular telephone 6 and informs the center of current position information measured by a built-in GPS and information to the destination to which the user is heading. The vehicle call center 1 refers to a data base, specifies taxis 2-1 to 2-3 existing in the vicinity of the user and transmits identification information of the specified taxis and fare to the destination to the cellular telephone 6. In addition, the vehicle call center 1 calculates the fare to the destination, for example, in the case of using a bus 3 and a train not illustrated and transmits the calculated fare to the cellular telephone 6 together with the taxi fare. The fares are displayed on the cellular telephone 6 as a table.
