PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit illegal copy of a particular original image when a read original image is the particular original in an image input/output system where an image reader and a printer are asynchronously in operation. SOLUTION: In the image input/output system provided with a scanner receiving at least image information and a printer for recording an image on the basis of the image information, the similarity between image information received from the scanner and image information of a particular original image is discriminated by receiving a signal from a similarity discrimination section (S4004), when discrimination depicts that the image information is similar to image information of the particular original, an image processing parameter of the received image information is revised, the revised parameter is sent to the printer for its recording and the recording of the image information by the printer is inhibited until the discrimination result by the similarity discrimination section is received. |
