<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load to be imposed on caster wheels or guide sensors in an unmanned carrier traveling while detecting a guide line paved on a road by a guide sensor. SOLUTION: A vehicle body 7 elevatable between a lower limit position and an upper limit position Pb is arranged, and guide sensors 4 and 5 are arranged through holding means 21 and 31 elevatable with a fixed stroke with respect to the vehicle body 7 at the vehicle body 7 side. The holding means 21 and 31 are respectively formed with caster wheels 26 which can be grounded to a road 2. When the vehicle body 7 is descended to the lower position, the caster wheels 26 are grounded to the road 2, and a route from the road 2 to each guide sensor 4 and 5 is maintained to the minimum height, and when the vehicle body 7 is ascended to the upper limit position Pb, the caster wheels 26 are floated from the road 2, and the route between the road 2 and each guide sensor 4 and 5 is maintained to the maximum height B. The minimum height and the maximum height B are set within the reading range of each guide sensor 4 and 5.</p> |
