TURBO CODE ERROR CORRECTION DECODING METHOD AND DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo code error correction decoding method and device that avoids a decoding time from being increased even when a code length of a turbo code is long and can detects an error in a decoding result even when a CRC bit is short. SOLUTION: The turbo code decoder controls number of repetitive decoding times so as to enhance the efficiency by deciding number of decoding repetitive times depending on the code length, decreasing the number of repetitive decoding times when the code length is long and increasing the number of repetitive decoding times when the code length is short thereby avoiding the decoding time from being increased as a whole.
