PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform the sensuous evaluation of an image which conventionally depends on the intuition of a human and manual work. SOLUTION: An image evaluation system is provided with an evaluation object image input means 1 inputting the image to be an evaluation object, a visual sensation induction field calculation means 2 calculating the induction field of visual sensation for the image inputted to the evaluation object image input means 1 and an image sensuous evaluation means 3 sensuously evaluating the image on the basis of a potential value obtained in the visual sensation induction field calculation means. Also, the image sensuous evaluation means 3 is provided with an induction field energy calculation means 31, calculates the energy of the induction field on the basis of a result obtained in the visual sensation induction field calculation means 2 and sensuously evaluates the image from the size of the energy. |
