PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a read data transfer rate even when a reading magnetic head element has a large resistance component. SOLUTION: Conductive patterns R1, R2, W1, W2 are extended side by side in the longitudinal direction of a suspension 2 in a predetermined zone K. A conductor pattern R1 for a reading signal and a conductor pattern W1 for a writing signal are located in the area of the +X side of the suspension 2 with a center axis O as a boundary in the zone K. A gap between the conductor patterns R1, R2 located most in the center axis O side in each area of the zone K is considerably wider than that between the conductor patterns R1, W1 and that between the conductor patterns R2, W2 in the zone K.
