摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a correct position adjustment and a correct position measurement on the same image without generating the partial degradation of the display surface of a panel and without using visual sensation and to shorten the measuring time. SOLUTION: This device has a pattern signal generating unit 3 displaying a measuring pattern signal having both position discrimination information and color information on a display 10 and an image pickup unit 1 detecting display picture information at measuring places of the display 10. The pattern signal generating unit 3 has a pattern signal generating part displaying a pattern signal such as that secular changes of respective parts of the surface of the display 10 become uniform and it generates a checker flag pattern control signal for displaying a checker flag pattern on the display 10.
