PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device in which reliability is improved by reducing a temperature difference inside the surface of a panel and suppressing generation stress. SOLUTION: This plasma display device has a plasma display panel 1 and a metal sheet 4 for supporting the plasma display panel 1. A heat transfer material 2 having heat conductivity equal to or higher than that of the metal sheet 4 is arranged on the back of the plasma display panel 1, and a cushioning material 3 is arranged between the heat transfer material 2 and the metal sheet 4. As a linking member, an adhesive 17 is inserted to a hole formed through the metal sheet 4, the heat transfer material 2 and the cushioning material 3, and the plasma display panel 1, the metal sheet 4, the heat transfer material 2 and the cushioning material 3 are tightly stucked and linked.
