A device for providing a flow of liquid from a source of the liquid (23) through a tube (28) comprising, means for releasably pinching off (152,162) a section of the tube, means for pushing the liquid in the tube in a flow direction by compression of the tube and means for directing the flow of the liquid through the pinched off section of the tube towards the source of the liquid once the means for pinching off the section of the tube has been released so as to re-open the tube with the liquid.
