PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller by which toner amount moved to a photoreceptor is stabilized by forming the inclination of developingγin a single layer made of rubber material considering an environmental problem and cost, satisfying low resistance so as to make saturation developing potential low, obtaining low hardness that the roller is not damaged even when it rotates while abutting on a drum photoreceptor and making the non-electrostatic adhesive force of the surface of the roller small. SOLUTION: This developing roller 4 is constituted of a core bar 4a and an elastic layer 4b provided on the core bar 4a, is made to come into contact with or come close to an image carrier 2 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed while rotating in a state where it carries the toner 7, and supplies the toner 7 to the surface of the image carrier so as to make the electrostatic latent image visualizable. The elastic layer 4b is the single layer and principal polymer is silicone rubber, and the maximum static friction coefficient of the silicone rubber is <=0.6. |
