PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial position pointer which can be relatively simply constituted and provided at a low cost, and to provide a spatial position pointing device using the pointer. SOLUTION: An operator operates the other side 52 of an pointing member 50 in an operation space A. The operated pointing member 50 supplies a tension vector T corresponding to the position of the other side 52 to first - third members 10-30. Then, a tension detection part 40 respectively detects information corresponding to component forces T1 -T3 corresponding to the tension vector T as the deformation amount of a beam 41. The detected information corresponding to the component forces T1 -T3 is sent to a calculation part 2 and the calculation part 2 calculates the position of the other side 52 of the pointing member 50. Thus, spatial coordinates are inputted to a computer. |
