<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key input device that can give an excellent click feeling to an operator and easily confirm contents allocated to keys. SOLUTION: The key input device is composed of a touch panel 5 generating operation position signals by a pressing operation to a touch surface, a touch panel controller 13 deciding and outputting an operation key code corresponding to the operation position signal by referring to two or more kinds of key code tables 12 in which the correspondence relation of a plurality of operation section screens constituting the touch surface and the operation key codes is defined, a key pad selectively mounted on the touch panel and provided with a plurality of key tops to press the touch surface, and reference table specifying means 11, 14 and 65 provided on the key pad and specifying the key code table to be referred to at the time of deciding the operation key code in the touch panel controller.</p> |
