PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make more efficient access to data which is managed by a folder having tree structure. SOLUTION: The folder having the tree structure is stored in a data storage part 110 in a server 100. Many users access the server 100 by terminals 201 to 205 connected with a network 300. Access privileges are set to individual users by unit of branch of the tree structure about a group of folders stored in the data storage part 110 in an access privilege setting part 130. When the access from a specific user is made, an access control part 120 refers to the access privileges in the access privilege setting part 130, determines a branch of which the access privileges are owned by the user and a branch equivalent to a high-order layer of the branch as a branch to be presented to the user, presents only the branch to be presented to the user and makes the user access it.
