PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip line-waveguide converter with a small size and a light weight, that can attain efficient propagation. SOLUTION: The strip line-waveguide converter is provided with; a dielectric multi-layer board 101 on which a 1st dielectric board 101a, a 2nd dielectric board 101b and a 3rd dielectric board 101c are layered; a feeder 103 provided to a lower side of the 3rd dielectric board 101c; a slot 105 provided onto a ground face between the 3rd dielectric board 101c and the 2nd dielectric board 101b and through which an electromagnetic wave emitted from the feeder 103 is transmitted; a planar antenna 107 provided between the 2nd dielectric board 101b and the 1st dielectric board 101a and having degeneration separation sections 113a, 113b; an aperture antenna 109 acting like a circular opening placed on the upper side of the 1st dielectric board 101a and excited by an electromagnetic wave emitted from the planar antenna 107; and a waveguide 111 provided on the upper side of the 1st dielectric board 101a so that its opening covers the aperture antenna 109.
