The arrangement is for the automatic handling of goods in the form of mainly equally spaced stackable units (1) and comprises a support equipment for the units, which has a raisable and lowerable frame enclosing at least a downwardly open space for receiving the units when the frame is lowered. A retention unit (8) is movably arranged with the frame, which can adopt an inactive position in which it can come free from the units on lowering. It can adopt an active position in which together with the frame it can lift the units. The retention unit in its active position can engage with at least two of the units so that they can be fixed in a vertical direction. It can also produce a friction engagement in its active position. |
