摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an origin correcting and valid operation range setting method for a joystick capable of successively correcting the dispersion of the origin position of an operation shaft at the time of the initial stage of an operation in a fixed cycle and obtaining accurate origin position and valid operation range. SOLUTION: The joystick is composed of the operation shaft, an elastic member, an input device 1 provided with first and second variable voltage dividers 31 and 32 adjusted corresponding to the swing, position of the operation shaft, the output voltage detection part of the voltage dividers 31 and 32 , a storage part 7 storing the minimum and maximum output voltage ratios preset within the valid adjustment range of the voltage dividers 31 and 32 and a controller 2 provided with an information generation part forming position information indicating the swing position of the operation shaft. The origin is corrected and the valid operation range is set through the first processing stage of calculating the origin position of the operation shaft and characteristics of the voltage to the angle line passing through the origin position by using the minimum and maximum output voltage ratios preset in the storage part 7 respectively for X axis and Y axis directions at the time of power supply, the second processing stage of calculating a new origin position from the average value of the maximum value and minimum value of the output voltage ratio respectively for the X axis and Y axis directions at the time of the swing of the operation shaft, the third processing stage of setting the valid operation range and the fourth processing stage of repeatedly executing the second and third processings in the fixed cycle.</p>
