<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and small-sized terminal processing apparatus wherein the stripping length is automatically changed when a braided shield exposed at an end of a high-voltage shielded cable is stripped off. SOLUTION: A positioning pin 4 for cable ends is installed in a braid opening pipe 1 provided with a mail edge on the periphery of the tip thereof, and the position of the pin 4 is changed by an actuator 5. When a shielded cable A is manually pushed in to drive the pipe 1 into the braided shield (b), the amount of driving-in is varied by changing the pin position, and thus the length of excessive portion of the braided shield stripped off is changed.</p> |
