<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to optionally use taxis of a desired taxi company among free taxis existing in the vicinity of a riding point without calling a taxi existing in a point distant from the riding point. SOLUTION: A vehicle allocation management server 1 acquires the current position and free states of every taxi from its on-vehicle terminal 4, stores and manages the acquired data in a taxi management data base 11. When a vehicle allocation request transmitted from a user's portable terminal 5 via a network 2 is accepted, the vehicle allocation management server 1 refers to the taxi management data base 11, specifies a free taxi of a specified taxi company existing in the vicinity of a requested riding point and informs the user's portable terminal 5 to a requesting origin of the current position of the free taxi.</p> |
