PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to input multi-valued signals by an inclined operation of a key in a multi-directional key switch. SOLUTION: This is multi-directional key comprises a keytop constituted of hard resin, a key base made of rubber-form elastic body mounting the keytop on the surface, and a plurality of switch-depressing protrusions that are formed by the same material as the key base perpendicular, underneath the rear face of the keytop-mounting part of the key base. The switch-pressing protrusion is respectively provided, immediately below the center of the keytop at the intersection points that are formed on the keytop plane by plural concentric circles surrounding the keytop center and the radiuses in inclined directions of the keytop, and the length of the switch-pressing protrusions, in each inclined direction of the keytop, are made different for each concentric circle.
