MULTIPLE MOBILE CONTACT - TRIPLE SPLITTER WITH A PLUG

The multiple mobile contact comprises a triple splitter (1), supply cable (2) and plug (3). The triple splitter and the plug are a novel design solution. The triple splitter enables to connection of electric power users supplied with 6A and 10A plugs, and in the case of 6A plugs the number of the simultaneously connected users is doubled. The design of the base, including the rectangular holes in which the contact seats and the longitudinal ribs, forming the channel of the earthing plate are fitted, rules out any chance of spark transferring, and thence - a short circuiting between the contact and the zero-connection and earthing plates. The fitting of the supply cable (2) to the base by means of a plastic support, increases its reliability and impedes its disconnection. The plug (3) design avoids any electrically conducting connection between the plate fitting the cable to plug (3) and its earthing plate. In this way any chance of short circuiting in any possible breaking of the insulation of the current-conductive wires of the supply cable (2) are eliminated. 2 claims, 6 figures
