<p>A tower (10), an antenna platform (12) and a mounting assembly (14) for rotatably mounting the antenna platform (12) to the tower (10). The mounting assembly (14) includes tower mounting members (30) for attaching the mounting assembly (14) to the tower (10), platform mounting members (38) for attaching the antenna platform (12) to the mounting assembly (14), and a rotational member (36) to facilitate rotation of the antenna platform (12) about a longitudinal axis (A) of the tower (10). The mounting assembly (14) enables the antenna platform (12) to be set at any desired position about a 360-degree azimuth. The rotational member (36) includes a ring (36), and the ring includes ring segments (40a, 40b, 40c). If three ring segments are used, the mounting assembly (14) enables rotation of the antenna platform (12) along a 120-degree arc while the platform (12) is connected to the tower (10). The platform mounting members (38) are attached to the ring (36) between the segments (40a, 40b, 40c) thereof. Centering clamps (67) are provided to maintain centering of the platform (12) about the longitudinal axis (A) of the tower (10) while the rotational member (36) is being rotated.</p> |
