The stackable folding box of cardboard or similar flat material is in cubic form and has corner reinforcing profiles (7,18) on the inside along at least two diagonally opposite corners. The reinforcing profiles extend over the whole height between a bottom wall (8-11) and top wall (12-15). At least one profile (7) is connected to an adhesive flap (6) which is connected to one sidewall (5) and glued to an adjacent sidewall (2). An Independent claim is included for a device for the manufacture of a folding box which has a unit for the preparing of flat-lying blanks and a unit for the feeding of profiled material to the flat-lying blanks in the connecting regions of two sidewalls. |
