<p>The invention concerns a device for monitoring a structure, for example, a civil engineering structure, enabling to acquire measurements derived for deformation sensors wherewith the structure is permanently equipped. Said measurements are compared to set values, for example elastic, plastic or breaking limits of a material from which the structure is made. After analysis, results are obtained, for example, concerning fatigue or aging of the structure. A graphic analysis enables to deduce service life of the structure or an expected date for maintenance. Said device is particularly adapted for preventive maintenance of the structure. Said device is designed to be mounted into an automatic monitoring network for a plurality of structures. The results of the analysis are displayed on a computer screen connected to said network. The results can be processed and displayed so as to be easily interpreted by a non-technician manager of structures.</p> |
