A vacuum switch unit, comprising a generally cylindrical vacuum switch (1), a fixed electrode side contact connection terminal (21) having one end fixed to the fixed electrode (1a) of the vacuum switch (1) and having the other end with a contact connection part (21a) for contact−connection to a first circuit conductor disposed in a switch gear, and a movable electrode side contact connection terminal (31) having one end fixed to the movable electrode (1b) of the vacuum switch (1) and having the other end with a contact connection part (31a) for contact−connection to a second circuit conductor disposed in the switch gear, wherein the fixed electrode side contact connection terminal (21) and the movable electrode side contact connection terminal (31) are formed so that the other end having the contact connection part is positioned generally parallel with the center axis (S) of the vacuum switch (1).
