<p>Disclosed are antimicrobial compositions containing β-peptides and methods of inhibiting microbial growth in mammals using the compositions. The β-peptides present in the compositions contain ring structures in the peptide backbone which limit the conformational flexibility of the peptide backbone.</p> |
