<p>A calculation apparatus and an image processing apparatus capable of performing various calculations including those not assumed at the stage of development only by electrically modifying connections between a plurality of calculation circuits and having plotting efficiency in three-dimensional graphics sufficient for real-time plotting. The calculation apparatus (201) includes a register file (RF) (2011) and a calculation pool (2012). The calculation pool (2012) has at least one calculation unit (20121 to 20124) for data passing to/from the register file (2011) via a data bus (BS). The calculation units (20121 to 20124) include a plurality of calculators (adder, multiplier, multiplier/adder) (OP1 to OP8) and a connection circuit network (CCN) existing between the register file (2011) and the calculators (OP) and capable of modifying electrical connections with the calculators (OP1 to OP8).</p> |
