The invention relates to an active magnetic antenna applicable to the telecommunication field, particularly for TV receivers and VHF, UHF or SHF band radio receivers. According to the invention, the antenna comprises a winding (1) parallelly mounted on a stationary capacitance (CT) and on a circuit with adjustable equivalent capacitance, said circuit comprising a transistor (T1) grill-controlled through a resistor (R3), with a supply and command voltage from a charger (3), said transistor (T1) supplying the signal to an amplifier, the transistor (T1) and the amplifier being supplied with a stabilized voltage by a Zener diode (Z), said diode being supplied through a resistor (R1) and a coil (L) from the supply and command voltage, the signal supplied by the amplifier being transmitted through the charger (3) to the receiver (4). According to the invention, the antenna has the advantage of a low cost relative to known magnetic antennae, comparable to the cost of the passive antennae, but in the conditions in which the antenna gain is increased.
