The invention relates to a beam-shaping element for optical radiation, in particular for UV laser radiation and to a method for producing said element. The beam-shaping element has a carrier substrate (1) comprising a structured thin-layer metallized coating for shaping the beam of the optical radiation. Said thin-layer metallized coating is composed of at least two metallic layers (2, 3), which react with one another and permanently change colour upon impingement of the optical radiation (4) above a specific intensity and/or after a specific irradiation duration of said optical radiation (4). With this configuration, optically visible signs of usage remain after impingement, in such a way that inadvertent repeated usage can be eliminated. |
