<p>In a video processor (4) to which an electronic endoscope (2) having a built-in CCD (3) is detachably connected, an output signal of the CCD (3) is A/D converted, after which, white balance adjustment is performed and basic video signals are generated for outputting video signals of NTSC to the monitor (5) from a post-processing circuit (21). Furthermore, by fitting an option substrate (7) having a connector (24) detachably attached to a connector (6)for outputting the AGC-processed signals thereby performing highlighting for output onto the monitor (5). Thus, functions desired by a user can easily be realized by mounting option substrate (7), etc.</p> |
