<p>A HVAC curtain valve (20) that can operate at very low torque and can be assembled easily is provided. The valve (20) has an inlet (23), an outlet (25), and a curtain closure (40). The curtain closure (40) adjustably controls fluid flow through the outlet (25) and includes a diaphragm (40) held in an insert (30). The insert (30) has a dimension larger than a mating surface on the valve body (22) so that it can be secured without fasteners. The valve (20) can employ a radially and axially moveable shoe (350) to assure tight close off.</p> |
