<p>A D-stereospecific amino acid amidase, its gene,and a method for production of D-stereospecific amino acid using the same are provided. The D-stereospecific amino acid amidase ans its gene originate from thermophilic microorganism Brevibacillus borstelensis, a cloning vector and expression vector containing the same, and a transformant transformed by the expression vector. A method for production of D-stereospecific amino acid uses the D-stereospecific amino acid amidase. A D-stereospecific amino acid amidase and method for large-scale preparation of D-stereospecific amino acid amidase using genetic engineering. The D-stereospecific amino acid amidase can produce various D-stereospecific amino acid useful to industry from a DL-amino acid amid racemic mixture.</p> |
