<p>The roller cutting tool, with a rolling cutting head, has an upper (5) and a lower (7) roller cutter with an axial adjustment between them. The cutters are on shafts (41,8) within a housing (1), each with a cutting ring (9,11). The lower cutter shaft is keyed to a drive shaft (37) through a cogwheel. The housing rides on longitudinal guides (23), parallel to the cutter shafts and drive shaft, and can be locked in position. An upper drive shaft (43) is parallel to the upper cutter shaft, with a pinion (49) which meshes with a pinion (51) at the cutter shaft.</p> |
