PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent color ink for ink jet which has a bright fluorescent color and a good color reproducibility and is excellent in light resistance and emission stability. SOLUTION: This fluorescent color ink contains a dispersoid comprising cores containing a fluorescent colorant and a polymer and having shells formed thereon from a polymer having hydrophilic groups, a water-soluble organic solvent, and water.
